
Shippers and forwarders affected by the lack of long-haul truck drivers in the US must move to other transport modes, as the shortage is long-term rather than a cyclical shift, say industry experts.

October 10, 2012 at 2:16 pmI would consider rail for our shipments that are not time-sensitive. However with the cost of transporting our equipment to the rail, and then the rail shipping costs it is just not economical to do so.
