Air France-KLM managed to reduce operating losses from its full freighter operations in 2015 to €42m, from a loss of €97m a year before. – and says it will break even on freighters by 2017. It phased out five freighters last year, causing full freighter capacity to drop by 23.2%. However, the operating loss in the full cargo segment widened from -€212m to -€245m in 2015, a poor result it blamed on overcapacity.
