It may have been the most tragic week for the aviation industry, but the impact of that has yet to be seen in the financial results. This week several US carriers reported record profits – although cargo wasn’t quite so stellar. Both United and Delta saw cargo revenues fall, although American Airlines, now merged with US Airways, saw a 31% hike in revenues in the first half. Over in Russia, Airbridge Cargo also announced record results.
