June 19, 2019 at 12:23 pmThe #1 attribute to the Blockchain is its ability to Trace INS and OUTS. Blockchain projects have not met hyped expectations because most of these use cases are based on trying to do more than the blockchain should do. Some industries like Pharma already do a great job of tracing the product and lot codes. This simply needs to be posted to the Blockchain to provide what seems to be most important is verification of the source, and protection of the consumer from fake products.. The blockchain in its true form is a very inexpensive way to achieve the results that will promote Trust, Transparency, and Traceability. TraceabilityBlockchain exists today and can be as simple as posting from an excel file or can use a simple API from any SaaS.
