Following SASI’s excellent first white paper on the future of air cargo is another, from SASI’s Charles Edwards. He examines the factors at play which will determine air cargo’s future – of which e-commerce will play a big part; what the industry needs to do to capture this traffic successfully – in which data will play a big part; and how the industry will get there.
As he notes in conclusion: “The challenge is before us. The opportunities are wide open. The competitors with alternative solutions are nipping at our heels. What we need is a fresh perspective, out-of-the-box thinking and avoiding costly misadventures. We cannot wait.”
