‘Tis the season for the competition authorities to rub their hands in glee, apparently. Swiss authorities have fined K+N, Panalpina and Agility, while whistleblower Deustche Bahn was let off. Over in France, it would seem, SNCF has been up to no good either. This interesting article shows how the French national railway restricted the entry of new operators into the rail freight sector by using confidential information for commercial purposes, restricting access to yards and overbooking train paths.
