Cargojet: the 777 era may have ended before it took off, but life goes on
Cargojet’s foray into the B777 freighter arena has ended before it had taken off. A year ...
After having successfully launched an operation between Russia, Europe and the Far East at the end of last year, Sky Gates is to increase its freighter fleet with another Boeing 747-400 full freighter.
According to Nidjat Babayev, senior VP of Sky Gates, responsible for commercial development, the aircraft will be delivered by mid-June. The 747-400F is an ex-Cathay Pacific aircraft currently operated by Silk Way West, a partner airline of Sky Gates.
