While we try, at The Loadstar, to be  generally positive, the industry we cover is not always quite so upbeat. In fact, pessimism has reached a new low. The Stifle Logsitics Confidence Index has seen a fourth consecutive month of decline. It does, however, remain above the neutral 50 point level, at 51.5, but its deline to this point has ben swift. Sea freight is looking “unhealthy”, while air freight saw all but one trade lane below the 50-point mark, with Europe-Asia at a brutal 44.7.
