In Jewish humour there’s an old joke that takes various forms but basically runs along the following lines…
Non-Jew: ‘Rabbi, I’d like to convert to Judaism.’
Rabbi: ‘Why? Don’t you have enough problems already?’
The joke sprang to mind when unconfirmed reports emerged recently that FedEx may be close to sealing the acquisition of some kind of stake in European delivery company Hermes.
