Eurotunnel’s ferry strategy at risk as rivals cry foul

Detailed analysis of the problems that Eurotunnel faces in its twin bid to revive the SeaFrance cross-channel ferry operations and take over operations at the French ports of Calais and Boulogne. It wants to create a truly multimodal operation involving trains, ships and ports, while existing ferry operators P&O Ferries and DFDS are crying foul to the UK competition authorities – who appear to have sympathetic ears.
