Much has been said about the recent shift in US inbound container flows from Asia, away from their traditional gateway hubs on the US west coast and towards the resurgent* east and Gulf coast hubs, so Premium thought it was time to add our tuppence-worth.
(*Pointless history nerd joke alert – resurgent in the sense that prior to containerisation and the ensuing globalisation, ports such as New York, Savannah, Charleston and New Orleans were the key nodes of US international trade.)
