Veteran air cargo technology executive Johan Ruthstrom has become head of commercial for e-Cargoware.
He joins the company with extensive experience in the sector, with more than two years as product specialist, airline connectivity, at WiseTech, some 12 years at Champ, as well as stints at Traxon and Descartes.
Senior director and co-founder Arun Singh said: “Johan is a perfect addition to the management team and has the relevant experience and passion for the role. Johan will be helping us to achieve our ambition to be the preferred digital cargo management platform and most highly respected brand as we go into 2022 and beyond.”
Mr Ruthstrom will work alongside e-Cargowares’s leadership team. Chairman Des Vertannes said: “We are thrilled for Johan to be joining the team. Our CEO, Ramesh Darbha, and team are firmly executing our growth strategy, and Johan will be integral to achieving our ambitious vision.”
Mr Ruthstrom said: “e-Cargoware is clearly passionate about digitalising air freight and 2022 looks set to be an eventful year and it is a great time to be joining.”
