Delivering cargo: Iraqi Airways' novel 747 loading solution

A few historical images…Not many people will have seen this, or even would have known it exists – but these images show that Boeing made self-loading equipment for a 747-200C, for Iraqi Airways. Weighing 6.6 tons, and taking 30 minutes to deploy or stow, not many airlines would have wanted it because of the additional payload. It could be moved to shift cargo from the nose or the side, and could handle 13.6 tons.
