    Nice article. Liftings is a good statistic when it comes to studying “market shares” but the metric that counts when it comes to awarding accolades is liftings per slot or, to make things even more interesting, liftings per ship. And this would be more interesting if reported per route, e.g. Asia – Europe, rather than globally (something that doesn’t say much). Again, compliments for the article.
