In Europe internet shopping is beloved by those short of time. But in China, e-commerce has become connected with high-quality produce – especially in the grocery market. China has been rocked by several contaminated food scandals, and internet delivery companies are now targeting wealthy consumers. The online fresh food market in China is set to grow at about 8% by 2017, according to Euromonitor, while another analyst predicted sales of fresh produce in China could be worth $6.5bn by 2018.
