CH Robinson eyes peak season capacity constraints

CH Robinson’s glass appears half-full. The forwarder is forecasting that the current air and ocean freight markets represent a perfect storm that will lead to peak season capacity constraints. Air Cargo News reports that with the peak shipping season having hit earlier than normal, spot market rates are already on the up. From CH Robinson’s POV, shippers requiring capacity should act now to ensure no headaches as the Christmas crunch hits proper.
