CH Robinson has announced that chief financial officer Andrew Clarke will be stepping down at the end of the month.
Mr Clarke began his logistics career at the turn of the century as chief financial officer for Forward Air, having worked previously in the banking sector.
Six years later he was appointed chief executive of Panther Expedited services, before again moving in 2010, this time to Blount International as a board manager.
Chief executive of CH Robinson John Wiehoff praised Mr Clarke’s impact on the business: “Over the last four years, Andy played a key role as part of our executive leadership team as we increased our total revenues by over $3bn and expanded our global geographic and service line footprint.
“Andy has also built a highly competent finance organisation during his tenure as CFO. On behalf of the board of directors, I would like to thank Andy for his many contributions to CH Robinson and wish him continued future success.”
Mr Clarke said: “I am proud to have been a member of the team that created significant value for customers, carriers, employees and shareholders, including the return of nearly $2bn of capital over the last four years, and I wish the company and its employees continued success in the future.”
According to his LinkedIn profile, he joined the board of directors of Element Fleet Management in June last year, and remains on the board.
