OceanX: Whither TradeLens and the digitisation challenge? China's Covid conundrum
Disquieting digi-questions to digest…
A nice positive article on Cargolux, which yesterday announced its full-year results for 2014. As Cargo Facts points out, the Luxembourg carrier has the unhappy habit of hitting the headlines too often, partly owing to its very vocal unions, and partly, we suspect here at The Loadstar, because the industry is rather fond of it and everyone has an opinion on how it should be run. Not least those who work for it. Anyway, it has made a profit, albeit a small one, despite a $40m fleet impairment charge. This article interestingly compares it with Lufthansa Cargo – and rather favourably.
