The flare-up on the border between Cambodia and Thailand has led to closures, severely disrupting cross-border trucking in the region, said Kuehne + Nagel.
Cambodian authorities confirmed that all crossings with Thailand will remain shut until further notice, with only humanitarian cargo allowed to pass. Transport companies are diverting shipments through Laos and Vietnam, which will increase transit times and costs.
