Russian freighter operator AirBridge Cargo now seems certain to move its HQ from Moscow to Luxembourg, as part of a wide-ranging plan that opens up strategic opportunities as well as presumably providing it with certain tax efficiencies. There is no timetable to the move, although it is understood to tie-in with a possible bid for the 35% of national carrier Cargolux that was sold by Qatar Airways to the government. China-based Hainan Group, the Chinese province of Henan and US air cargo operator Centurion are also mentioned as possible bidders.
