With Air Cargo Africa opening next week, all eyes are on the potential of the continent’s air freight market – set to see a permanent shift as economies grow. Airlines have been busy adding capacity in the hope of high yields. But while low-yield perishables still dominate the export market, carriers are finding it hard to make freighter capacity pay.
