Forwarder network WCA has acquired a majority stake in rival EGLN, to “boost opportunities for both sets of members”.
EGLN, which formed in 2015 and has 332 members in 131 countries, will maintain its brand and independence.
“We don’t want to mess with it,” said WCA chief Dan March. “It has its own character, and its members are happy. We will just add back office support and a member-to-member payment system to help EGLN keep on growing.”
