Whoever designed it should never be allowed to design anything ever again and the handling sheds based their ought to up their game and stop keeping people waiting endlessly. We’re all in the same game and forwarders needs the airlines and handling companies just as much as the handling companies and airlines need forwarders yet we all seem to be make it as inefficient as we can for each other.
Knock it down and start again is what I say.

November 03, 2015 at 10:37 pmWhen the current facilities were designed the were leading edge 40ft trucks did not exist. Heathrow has not until this year taken an interest in cargo and like the airport itself we are now playing catch up. The individuals who designed the Horseshoe are long dead and that is the problem.
