A rather damning critique of Amazon’s same-day delivery service in New York. After a series of somewhat Kafkaesque communications, following failed delivery attempts, the writer asks why Amazon would choose just a single supplier for its same-day courier operations – especially when it appears to provide very poor service. Amazon’s ultimate advice to him was to get himself a PO Box to make it easier for the courier (who apparently couldn’t manage a doorbell). Surely a lesson to be learned there somewhere.
