FORT WORTH, Texas – American Airlines Cargo has introduced three new UK and Ireland service points to its summer schedule for 2015. Edinburgh, Glasgow and Shannon will all see the introduction of flights from the USA starting in May.
Cargo service between Glasgow and Philadelphia will commence on May 3 and service between Edinburgh and New York’s, JFK as well as Shannon and Philadelphia will begin on May 7.
American will utilize B757 aircraft in these markets, perfect for smaller size shipments where speed and efficiency are critical.
“It’s important that our growing network offers customers the widest possible choice of departure destinations in both the UK and Ireland. With these seasonal services we are adding some great local cities to our existing established route network” said Tristan Koch, Managing Director Cargo Sales in the region with American.
