Some 4,500 flights out of major Chinese airports have been cancelled this week, owing to Covid lockdowns and poor weather. Zhengzhou, Chinese home of Cargolux, has seen more than 1,400 flights cancelled since Tuesday because of flooding. And a typhoon hit Guangdong, cutting more than 1,600 flights at Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai. Flight activity is picking up now, reports Argus, but flight numbers remain below normal levels.
