A useful checklist for container shippers of ways of maximising the amount of cargo shipped per container. The key trick is combining weight with volume, so that a box doesn’t weigh out before it is filled, and doesn’t fill up before it can also carry the right weight. It is a process that requires careful planning: “Cutting costs is easy; however real savings come from increased efficiency.”
