Speaking on behalf the National Chicken Council (NCC) and the US Poultry and Egg Export Council (USAPEEC), Bill Roenigk testified before the US International Trade Commission at a hearing on the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA). AGOA will be up for congressional approval this legislative session. Mr Roenigk expressed support for aid to developing countries, but added that those receiving aid “also have their responsibilities”. His testament also addressed South Africa’s imposition of anti-dumping duties on US poultry imports.
