UPS is set to return to European courts to win compensation for alleged damages from its aborted attempt to buy Dutch integrator TNT. Its offer to purchase TNT had been vetoed by the EC’s competition watchdog on anti-competitive grounds, which were later judged to be wrong by the EU’s General Court. “UPS is asking the EU’s General Court to award it compensation plus interest and taxes,” reports Bloomberg.
