Change has been an almost constant feature for customers and employees alike over the past few years for one of the most venerated names in the UK freight sector, Eddie Stobart. A couple of years after a split that saw its infrastructure and logistics businesses separate, comes news via Warrington Worldwide, that one of its minority shareholders, DBAy Advisors, has made a bid to buy the company. Trading in its shares was suspended in August after a £2m error was discovered in its first-half accounts, followed by the sudden departure of its chief executive.
