Melio waives credit card fees for US companies to ease cashflow

Melio provides online/mobile payment solutions for small businesses on the go. Melio users can pay all their business expenses, from anywhere, using a credit card, debit card, or ACH – even if the vendor only accepts checks. Vendors can receive either a check or ACH.

The ability to pay check-dependant vendors with a credit card has been immensely beneficial for the hundreds of small logistics businesses, forwarders, trucking companies, warehouses, and customs brokers, who in the last 12 months have processed over $5M in payments via Melio.

Melio helps small businesses keep track of their activity and schedule payments in advance to ensure they go out on time. All this is done via an intuitive dashboard that provides users with an overview of all their activity.

As the COVID-19 crisis unfolds, Melio will waive their fees and offer up to $10,000 USD of credit card payments with no charges or commitment, to a wide range of US-based companies (including logistics providers). International payments are planned for later this year.

We believe and hope that this can significantly ease cashflow issues by extending float for US truck brokers/drivers, forwarders, brokers, packaging co’s and warehouses – the small businesses who are “keeping the lights on” for all of us.
