Without being pedantic, as only certain stories can be, let’s try to sum up the most serious, and in turn the funniest, definitions we have all come across about the DSV Panalpina + Agility GIL tie-up in the past week.
Having had the time now to digest the $4.2bn purchase, the most recurring remarks we have read virtually everywhere are that the transaction, in random order and interchangeably, is: “huge”; “massive”; “amazing”; “very impressive”; “wonderful” and/or a “great achievement”.
