Effective October 2, LUG aircargo handling will take care of all freight for Emirates Airline (Dubai) at Germany’s leading cargo hub.
Frankfurt-Main, July 2017 — LUG aircargo handling GmbH has announced that it has agreed on a service contract with Emirates, headquartered in Dubai (UAE), effective October 2, 2017. Emirates (EK) operates passenger aircraft (A380 and B777) three times a day between Frankfurt-Main and Dubai. In addition, Emirates offers eight all-cargo flights with B777F per week. LUG will handle the belly cargo as well as road feeder services (RFS) and cargo from freighters for Emirates SkyCargo, the cargo division of Emirates.
Emirates is the world’s largest international airline and one of the top cargo carriers worldwide. Emirates flies to Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, und Munich in Germany. It offers scheduled services to over 150 destinations worldwide. Emirates SkyCargo’s freighter fleet operates to close to 50 airports.
