Siemens Postal, Parcel & Airport Logistics to launch on June 1

Siemens Postal, Parcel & Airport Logistics GmbH (SPPAL) goes into operation in Germany on June 1, 2015. The business with mail, parcel and baggage handling systems, currently known in the market as Logistics and Airport Solutions, will con- tinue as a new independent company under the Siemens umbrella. The carve-out in Germany is a decisive step to ensure the company’s stability and that it retains for the long term its leading position as a provider of technology and solutions for logistics processes.
