It’s all happening in the UK port sector ? or not. While London Gateway is busy promoting itself, Hutchison Port Holdings has withdrawn its application to develop a container port in Essex. The Harwich project received planning permission in 2006, but the UK government chose to conduct a public inquiry in the issue, adding further delays.
