How Walmart's 'supercube' trailer fails the environment

Long but fascinating response to the launch of Walmart’s new longer road trailer currently being trialled in Canada. While the new design, offering some 30% greater carrying capacity, will lead to less road trips, the design has also meant that an older stage, more polluting engine had to be fitted, leading to increased greenhouse gas emissions.
