Finnair will cancel more than 90 flights through its Helsinki Airport hub and suspend cargo shipments for six hours tomorrow (17 March) in response to strikes called for by the Finnish Aviation Union (FAU). No cargo will be accepted on European-bound narrow-body flights between 1300 and 1900 hours, with shipments on these flights being rebooked. In addition, the airport will be shutting its cargo terminal doors between 3pm and 7pm. The dispute is between the FAU and service employer union Palta and does not involve the carrier.
