Carmakers around the world are bracing for renewed turbulence after Beijing imposed export restrictions on Nexperia, the Dutch-based semiconductor manufacturer owned by China’s Wingtech Technology.

The move, which limits the flow of automotive-grade chips from China, reopens one of the most fragile fronts in global supply networks and could reshape automotive logistics patterns just as manufacturers were beginning to recover from years of disruption.
