Shippers exporting through Shanghai’s Yangshan port will receive tax refunds faster than before. As the Chinese government looks to boost the port, exporters will now be able to recoup some taxes as soon as ships set sail for Shanghai from feeder ports. Only Qingdao and Wuhan were included in this scheme previously.
