Carlsberg UK is set to outsource its logistics to DHL Tradeteam, with the loss of 1,000 jobs at the brewery. The company has announced it is to transfer its remaining secondary logistics operations to DHL next year and in 2018. The Danish company said last year it would cut 2,000 jobs after it reported a third-quarter loss. It has since conducted a review of its supply chain, leading to the decision to end its own distribution in the UK.
