Following on from our story about shippers extending payment terms, a UK small business association has been “naming and shaming” large firms that keep their suppliers waiting for payment. The latest is supermarket giant Sainsbury’s, which has unilaterally told its suppliers not to expect payment until at least 75 days from its receipt of goods.
