Turkish Cargo has appointed Turhan Ozen (pictured above) as its chief cargo officer, effective immediately.
Mr Ozen joins the carrier after an 11-year career with Ceva, where he held several senior roles, most recently managing director of Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia.
He started his logistics career in the early 1990s with Iveco before going on to join TNT Logistics, where he worked as operations director before moving to Ceva.
In the past 12 months, Turkish Cargo has received IATA’s centre of excellence certificate (CEIV) in transportation of pharmaceutical and medical products and has continued to expand its route map, most recently with the additions of Phuket in Thailand and Kharkiv in Ukraine.
