The antitrust stories never seem to end in this industry. This week saw Japanese shipping lines coming under scrutiny from the country’s Fair Trade Commission. NYK, MOL and K line are all under investigation on suspicion of breaking antitrust law in regards to exporting cars and other goods. The shipping affiliates of Toyota and Nissan have also been raided.
