Google wants to deliver packages from self-driving trucks

The latest on self-driving vehicles from the highly recommended Quartz. This week Google filed a US patent for a driverless delivery van with “lockers that could potentially be unlocked with a PIN code sent to the person waiting for the delivery”, or perhaps opened by swiping a credit card.
