Lufthansa Cargo has confirmed to customers that pilot union Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) has called for an all-day strike, beginning at midnight tonight.
The carrier warned it would mean changes to some flight schedules.
It said: “After learning of the strike call, Lufthansa Cargo immediately took measures to minimise any restrictions in flight and handling operations. Details are under review, and a special flight schedule is being prepared.”
