Röhlig USA has announced the appointment of Markus Wegmann as its new COO.
Mr Wegmann, who will report to CEO Rafael Ueltschi, has 30 years’ experience in the logistics industry on two continents.
He worked initially in Switzerland, before moving to the US as an operator, operations manager, branch manager, country head of operations and regional VP, all in the past 10 years.
Mr Ueltschi, said: “Markus is responsible for all our products (sea, air, land, project, brokerage, contract logistics) as well as operational efficiencies & processes. He will work closely with our operations, finance and sales teams to drive our strategy, further accelerate our growth and network expansion in North America”.
