Airlines are more likely to invest in cargo, and particularly technology, now that freight revenue has become crucial to their business, says IATA’s new DG, Willie Walsh.
Setting out his priorities for the sector, Mr Walsh said digitisation was key to the industry, and that cargo had “lagged” behind the passenger business.
