ATSG soars as takeover is confirmed
What needs to be done needs to be done
Amazon Air has contracted ATSG subsidiary Airborne Global Solutions to operate six 767-300 freighters on its behalf.
Amazon and ATSG said in June the latter would provide a further twelve 767-300 converted freighters. One was delivered in May, with the remainder due next year, all on 10-year leases. The total number leased by ATSG to the e-commerce company will be 42 by the end of next year, Air Cargo News reports.
