XPO Logistics has appointed Christine Robinne to head its technology and digital strategy in Europe.
Ms Robinne joins from Heineken, where she spent more than five years, most recently as transformation and technology director for Europe. She has also held the CIO role for the brewer in Europe. With a degree in computer science, her first job was project manager at Quaker Oats.
She will report to Luis Gomez, XPO’s president Europe, who said: “Christine is a seasoned technology executive who will ensure that our customers and operators get the full benefit of our innovation — particularly our digital freight management capabilities and productivity tools.”
XPO said it “provides technology-enabled freight transportation solutions for customers across a range of supply chains in Europe”.
