It’s probably one of the last chances to listen to feedback from conferences in transport and logistics ahead of the holiday season – with rail executives from CSX, Union Pacific (UP) and Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) as well as those from intermodal leader JB Hunt talking to investors yesterday, 2 December, it was a packed day for all those covering rail M&A in North America.

The Union Pacific-Norfolk Southern merger, of course, topped the agenda.
